These settings control the behavior of VATS.

fVATSCameraCutAwayDistance 30 The value of this setting has an unknown effect on gameplay
fVATSCameraDollyMin 1536 The value of this setting has an unknown effect on gameplay
fVATSCriticalChanceBonus 15 Used in the Critical Hit Chance Formula
fVATSDamageToWeaponMult 5 This Setting controls how much extra damage is done to a weapon when fired in VATS. It is a multiplier of the base single shot damage for that weapon.
fVATSDestructibleMult 1.25 The value of this setting has an unknown effect on gameplay
fVATSDistanceFactor 2 Controls how rapidly the chance to hit decreases as the range of the target increases. The rate is non linear. Smaller values slow the rate accuracy decreases, larger settings increases the rate.
fVATSGrenadeTargetArea 1640 The value of this setting has an unknown effect on gameplay
fVATSH2HWarpDistanceMult 0.27 The value of this setting has an unknown effect on gameplay
fVATSHitChanceMult 1 The value at which VATS multiplies the accuracy of a weapon, default accuracy is used as the default.
fVATSMaxChance 95 The maximum chance to hit a target in VATS.
fVATSMaxEngageDistance 5000 Actors which are farther away than this will not be considered a valid target for VATS.
fVATSMeleeMaxDistance 300 For weapons flagged as Melee, with great range, if fVATSMeleeReachMult would set it above fVATSMeleeMaxDistance, it uses fVatsMeleeMaxDistance instead.
fVATSMeleeReachMult 2 Defaults to doubling the reach a melee weapon can actually swing, whereas it may be 1-3 units, it is 2-6 in VATS
fVATSMeleeWarpDistanceMult 0.32 The value of this setting has an unknown effect on gameplay
fVATSParalyzePalmChance 0.3 This value is the chance of triggering the paralyzing palm effect per hit in VATS.
fVATSPlaybackDelay 0.17 The value of this setting has an unknown effect on gameplay
fVATSPlayerDamageMult 0.1 All damage taken by the player is multiplied by this value when VATS is active.
fVATSRangeSpreadMax 3 The value of this setting has an unknown effect on gameplay
fVATSRangeSpreadUncertainty 0.7 The value of this setting has an unknown effect on gameplay
fVATSShotBurstTime 0.43 Determines the number of shots that can be fired by automatic weapons in VATS.
fVATSShotLongBurstTime 1.75 Determines the number of shots that can be fired by automatic weapons with the Long Burst setting checked in VATS.
fVATSSkillFactor 1 The value of this setting has an unknown effect on gameplay
fVATSSpreadMult 0.5 Gun spread as determined by the Gun Spread Formula is multiplied by this value while in VATS.
fVATSStealthMult 0.5 The value of this setting has an unknown effect on gameplay
fVATSStrangerDistance 164 The value of this setting has an unknown effect on gameplay
fVATSStrangerOdds 0.1 Sets the likelihood that an individual with the perk "Mysterious Stranger" will receive aid from the Stranger when fulfilling the condition (Attacking in VATS, enemy not dead, but less than 150 hitpoints)
iVATSStrangerMaxHP 150 Sets the value of the maximum health of an NPC that the stranger from the perk "Mysterious Stranger" will act upon.
iVATSConcentratedFireBonus 5 Sets the percentage value of accuracy gained by the perk "Concentrated Fire." Accuracy is determined as usual, + [iVATSConcentratedFireBonus/100]*[Currentshot -1] Thus attacking with a 63% chance to hit a limb will become 68, on the second shot, 73 on the third, and so on.
