Durations

Durations are using real world times which need to be recalculated into game time to get the actual duration, example: if you set it to 1h and 1h real time equals 6h ingame time youll need to wait for 6h ingame time for the effect to wear off - confusing for users but that behavior can be seen on the Jet and Psycho effects which have a duration of 4minutes but you actually can wait alot longer for them to wear off --Jaysus 05:31, 27 January 2009 (UTC)

Visual Effects

The article is quoted as such (context included):

........
  • Effects NIF: The file name of the graphic effect played on the caster.
  • Effect shader: Shader used on spell target.
  • Object Display Effect: The effect shader played on the item if the effect is an object effect on a weapon or piece of armor.
    • Note: The two Effect Shader options above seem to be nonfunctional. Existing Base Effects apply all shaders via script.

Whilst this seems to be true for Object Display Effect, I have met with success getting my enchantment to play an effect shader on the spell target. Trying to be as concise as possible, it would appear that those functions aren't as non-functional as initially thought.
Will update the article after more comprehensive testing.
