I appreciate the work you're doing in the FAQ page, but you're starting to add answers for things that are already answered (and in more depth) on other pages. There's currently some discussion about how to categorize and organize the types of info in the FAQ page (see Organization Discussion). I would suggest that you:

  1. weigh in on that discussion as it relates to what you're working on
  2. triple-check before you add FAQ info to see if the info is already there. If it is, link to it instead. Duplicating info is a serious problem with a wiki, as it means updating things is much harder.

Sorry, those are the two things I do not have the energy or desire to do, and the reason why I created the FAQ in the first place, so other people like me could find the info quickly. --Felic 01:47, 18 December 2008 (UTC)
A wiki is a community effort -- you can't be a lone ranger wiki editor. There are guidelines to how this wiki can and should be used. Your position is somewhat selfish -- you don't want to make the changes because you 'don't have the energy or desire', and yet that just forces other people to come in and clean up after you.
This is why I suggested #1, because your opinion does count, so voice it in the discussion page. Otherwise you have no standing with which to back up your position.
