Overview
Media sets are used to define sets of music media for use in Media Location Controllers. They have several types available: Battle, Dungeon, Incidental and Location.
General
- ID: The Media Set Editor ID.
- Full Name: The name of the Media Set.
- Media Set Type: The type of Media Set.
- Battle Set Sets the Media Set type to Battle Set.
- Dungeon Set Sets the Media Set type to Dungeon Set.
- Incidental Set Sets the Media Set type to Incidental Set.
- Location Set Sets the Media Set type to Location Set.
- Reset (clear): Resets the Media Set type to Not Set.
Battle Set
- Intro: Intro Sound to play for this Battle Set, used as a stinger. For Fallout 3, style battle set use a 1 second silent Sound.
- Wait Time: Time to wait before playing the intro (unverified).
- Loop: Music file to play for this Battle Set.
- dB: Attenuation for the Battle music file.
- Outro: Outro Sound to play for this Battle Set.
- Loop Fade Out Time: Time to fade out the Loop music file in seconds (unverified).
- Recovery Time: Time before battle state completely ends and another music can start in seconds.
Dungeon Set
- Explore: Music file to play while player is exploring.
- dB: Attenuation for the Explore music file.
- Suspense: Music file to play while enemies are on alert (unverified).
- dB: Attenuation for the Suspense music file.
- Intro: Intro Sound to play while player starts combat.
- Battle: Music file to play while the player is engaged in combat.
- dB: Attenuation for the Battle music file.
- Outro: Outro Sound to play when combat stops.
- Looping/Random:
- Minimum Time on Layer: The minimum time this Battle Set will play in seconds (unverified).
- Crossfade Overlap Time: The crossfade time for this Battle set in seconds.
- Layer Crossfade Time: The crossfade time for this Battle Sets layers (unverified).
Incidental Set
- Daytime: Sound to play as an incidental during the day.
- Daytime Frequency
- Min: Minimum time in seconds.
- Max: Maximum time in seconds.
- Nighttime: Sound to play as an incidental during the night.
- Nighttime Frequency
- Min: Minimum time in seconds.
- Max: Maximum time in seconds.
Location Set
- Day
- % Boundary: the percentage ring of a Music Marker to play the outer music file.
- Outer: Music file to play in the outer ring of the music marker during the day.
- dB: Attenuation of the outer music file.
- % Boundary: the percentage ring of a Music Marker to play the middle music file.
- Middle: Music file to play in the middle ring of the music marker during the day.
- dB: Attenuation of the middle music file.
- % Boundary: the percentage ring of a Music Marker to play the inner music file.
- Inner: Music file to play in the inner ring of the music marker during the day.
- dB: Attenuation of the inner music file.
- Night
- % Boundary: the percentage ring of a Music Marker to play the outer music file.
- Outer: Music file to play in the outer ring of the music marker during the night.
- dB: Attenuation of the outer music file.
- % Boundary: the percentage ring of a Music Marker to play the middle music file.
- Middle: Music file to play in the middle ring of the music marker during the night.
- dB: Attenuation of the middle music file.
